CO – CURRICULAR

Besides the regular curriculum, a lot of importance is given to co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Students actively participate in the Inter- school and Regional level competitions

Competitions

The students are exposed to various inter school. competitions in the district, including debates, quiz contests, synopsis & presentation etc.

IKEN Scientific, India’s first Science and Technology Competition was conducted by Maa Foundation in Gurukul. After the Zonal level round held in Gurukul, six students were selected for the National Round at IIT Mumbai where Miss Poonam Yadav of class V was awarded the year 2009 IKEN student.

We Train Future Leaders

Gurukul possesses a rich tradition of training Future leaders and very nicely caters to the needs of society and country. Swamiji’s blessings and spiritual values have always motivated, encouraged and inspired our young minds to lead a meaningful life and face challenges in future. The existing Students Council members handed over their responsibility to the newly appointed Students Council for the academic year 2022-23.

Gurupurnima Celebrations

Gurukul believes in preserving and promoting India’s rich culture as well as customs and traditions. Guru ki Mahima, a skit emphasing upon the role of ‘Guru in our life was presented by students, students delivered speeches on the occasion. Swamiji blessed the students and teachers by quoting examples from Indian mythology. Shri Jagdishbhai Patel, Trustee and Former Principal and Director, Shri. T. D’ Costa showed their gracious presence.

Independence Day Celebration :

The 69th Independence Day was celebrated with great pomp and show. Swamiji hoisted the flag. Speeches highlighting the sacrifice of thousands of Indian Freedom Fighters were delivered. Swamiji emphasized the role of youth in nation building. Shri. Jagdishbhai Patel expressed concern over lack of belongingness among Indians. Shri. T. D‘ Costa expressed his concern about the problems faced by Indian even after 68 years of independence.The Principal focused upon the absence of patriotism and nationalism among Indians. The Inter-House Patriotic Group Song Competition was organized to pay tribute to Freedom Fighter. Parents and distinguished guests attended the function
